Tech Looks for First Big 12 Win Against Kansas

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech volleyball has the Kansas Jayhawks coming to town as the Red Raiders look for its first Big 12 win of the year Saturday night at 7 p.m. at the United Spirit Arena.
The Red Raiders come into the match with a 5-11 record and an 0-5 conference record after losing to Nebraska in straight sets (25-13, 25-23, 25-13) last Wednesday night. Becca Baldwin and Amanda Dowdy each had five kills and Brandi Hood finished with six blocks.
Kansas had No. 17 Kansas State on the ropes Wednesday night before falling in five sets (22-25, 25-19, 25-18, 18-25, 15-9). Karina Garlington led the Jayhawks with 17 kills and five blocks.
