Memphis-Texas Tech Game Suspended

TEMPE, Ariz. - After waiting patiently on their buses for a few hours for the rain to stop in Tempe, Ariz., Memphis and Texas Tech headed back to their hotels while the tournament director took action to move the schedule around to salvage the rest of the event.

The teams will resume action tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m. CT (9:30 in the desert) in the bottom of the third with Memphis holding a 4-0 advantage, but with Tech (the designated home team) with a pair of runners on, no outs, and the middle of the order coming to bat.

The game with No. 1 Arizona, originally scheduled for tonight at 8:30 CT, has been cancelled and will not be made up. The rest of the tournament will then progress as planned from Saturday's afternoon games. Be advised that those game times listed will be Mountain Time.)
