Horned Frogs in Town on Tuesday

Lubbock, TX -- The Texas Tech Red Raiders (10-4) host the TCU Horned Frogs (9-5) from Fort Worth, Texas at 7 PM in the United Spirit Arena on Tuesday, January 6. This is the last Red Raider non-conference game of the 2008-2009 season.
The game will be televised by the Texas Tech Television Network. In Lubbock, the game can be seen on KAMC-TV (CBS) with The Pat Knight Pre-Game Show beginning at 6:30 PM.
John Harris will call the play-by-play. Former Red Raider standout, Andy Ellis will provide the game analysis on the Texas Tech Television Network.
The Fox Sports Network (FSN-Southwest) will provide coverage via satellite in their San Antonio market while KFWD-TV (Channel 52) will air the game in the greater Dallas area.
ESPN is also scheduled to air the game as a part of their Full-Court package. The game will be featured online via ESPN360.com -- ESPN's signature broadband sports TV network.
The satellite coordinates for the game are AMC 15, Transponder K 4.
Mark Finkner will call Tuesday's courtside action against the Horned Frogs along with analyst Corky Oglesby on the Texas Tech Sports Network local station KKAM-AM 1340.
This will be the 116th meeting between the two teams since the series began on January 23, 1932. The Red Raiders hold a 71-44 lead in the series. Texas Tech holds a 40-12 margin in Lubbock while TCU has a 29-28 edge in Fort Worth. Both teams have won three neutral site games.
After their most recent win over Stephen F. Austin on January 1, the Red Raiders have ten wins and four losses for the season. Texas Tech held a 29-22 halftime lead over SFA, and then outscored the Lumberjacks by seven points in the second half (40-33) for the 69-55 win.
Alan Voskuil and Darko Cohadarevic led Tech in scoring with 12 points each. John Roberson and D'walyn Roberts each tallied 11 points. D'walyn recorded his first double-double performance as a Red Raider with 11 rebounds.
Four Red Raiders are averaging double figures for the season. John Roberson leads the Raiders with 15.2 points per game. Alan Voskuil is scoring 13.9 points per game. Nick Okorie is averaging 10.3 points per game. Mike Singletary is averaging 10.2 points per game.
TCU is 9-5 on the season and have three players averaging in double figures for the season. Kevin Langford leads his team in scoring with 13.4 points per game. Zvonko Buljan is averaging with 11.9 points per game. Edvinas Ruzgas registers 10.4 points per game.
The Red Raiders open Big 12 Conference play on January 10 against Baylor in Waco before hosting Texas on Saturday, January 17.
