Red Raiders host Sooners on Saturday

Lubbock, TX -- The Texas Tech Red Raiders (12-16, 2-11) host the Oklahoma Sooners (25-3, 11-2) tomorrow afternoon at the United Spirit Arena.
The game will tip at 2:30 PM (Central) on ABC.
Terry Gannon will call the play-by-play. Steve Lavin will provide the game analysis.
Mark Finkner will call Saturday afternoon's action against the Sooners along with analyst Corky Oglesby on the Texas Tech Sports Network local station Sports Radio 1340.
Texas Tech and Oklahoma are meeting for the 45th time since the series began on December 27, 1944. With Oklahoma's 95-74 win in Norman on February 14, the Sooners lead the series 28-16. Texas Tech has the edge in Lubbock, 10-9. Oklahoma has won 17 of 22 games in Norman. The Sooners hold a 2-1 margin on neutral courts.
Oklahoma is 25-3 for the season and they are 11-2 in Big 12 play. The Sooners have three players averaging double figures for the season. Blake Griffin leads his team with 22 points and 13.8 rebounds per game. Willie Warren follows with 15.6 points per game. Tony Crocker is averaging 10.1 points per game.
In Norman earlier this season, the Sooners held a ten-point lead at the half, 49-39. In the second half, OU sank 18-of-30 field goal attempts to Texas Tech's 11-of-35 attempts in the second half for an 11-point advantage, 46-35, for the 95-74 Oklahoma win.
Nick Okorie was the leading scorer for the Red Raiders with 24 points.
Oklahoma's Blake Griffin led his squad with 40 points and 23 rebounds.
Sophomore John Roberson continues to lead the Texas Tech squad with 14.2 points and 6.5 assists per game while Alan Voskuil is dropping in 13.9 points and is shooting 45.2 percent from beyond the three-point line. Nick Okorie is dropping in 11.1 points per game and has scored 100 points in his last five games. Mike Singletary is averaging 10.8 points off the bench.
At the beginning of the week, Alan Voskuil and John Roberson were among the nation's leaders in several categories. Alan is eighth nationally in three-point field goal percentage at 45.4 percent. His 2.7 three-pointers per game is 55th among D-1 players. John's 6.6 assists per game for the season ranks seventh nationally and his 83 percent free throw mark is 89th.
On the national level, Texas Tech's offense of 78.2 points per game is 31st while their 16.0 assists per game holds down the 27th spot.
The last Red Raider conference home game and "Senior Night" will tip on Wednesday, March 4 at 8:30 PM against the Kansas Jayhawks.
