UC-Riverside now leads the all-time series against Texas Tech 3-2 and has now won three-straight in the series dating back to last season.
Texas Tech's losing skid now stands at five games with the last win coming at home against New Mexico back on Feb. 25.
Chris Richburg's two-run home run in the fifth marked his fourth dinger (team-high) of the season.
Junior Logan Leslie hit a pinch hit home run in the eighth and that was his first in a Texas Tech uniform.
Junior shortstop Joey Kenworthy went 3-for-5 at the plate and it marked his second-straight, three-hit game.
Freshman Garrett Totten made his first career start and saw his first action of the season after missing the first 10 games of the year while recovering from a broken hand. The results were mixed for Totten as he committed two defensive errors but drove in one run in the fourth on a single down the first base line.
