Lady Raiders in Oklahoma for Two Matches

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's tennis squad enters the last week of conference play looking to continue its momentum into the conference tourney as it faces Oklahoma State on Friday and Oklahoma on Sunday.
The Lady Raiders are coming off an off week and are currently on a two-match winning streak. Tech won its final two home matches against Kansas State and Kansas. The squad is currently sixth in the Big 12 standings with a 4-4 record.
Freshman Natalie Leitch has the best conference record going into the final week as she is 5-3, and has won her last two matches. Sophomore Kelsy Garland has the best dual record this season with a 12-7 overall record and 4-4 in conference play.
The 58th-ranked doubles team of Garland and senior Samantha van der Drift are tied for the best record in conference at 5-2. Leitch and sophomore Simone Templeton have a 4-3 record in conference at the No. 2 doubles position.
Oklahoma State has a 10-10 record on the year and is 4-5 on conference play. The Cowgirls have beat Missouri, Kansas State, Iowa State and Oklahoma. Oklahoma brings Maria Constantinescu into the match on Sunday., who has a 9-0 singles record at the No. 1 position for the Sooners. Oklahoma is 8-15 overall and 2-7 in Big 12 play.
Friday's match at Oklahoma State starts at 1 p.m. while the match at Oklahoma begins Sunday at 1 p.m.
