- Tonight's win snapped a three-game losing skid to UNLV but the Rebels still hold a 6-3 advantage in the all-time series.
- Freshman third baseman Justin Berry posted career-highs in both hits and runs scored with four each. On the night, he went 4-for-5 (three singles and a double) with two RBIs. The multiple-hit game was his 14th of the year and his fourth multiple-RBI contest.
- Senior first baseman Chris Richburg was a home run away from the cycle as he went 3-for-5 with a single, double and a triple (first of the year).
- Junior shortstop Joey Kenworthy went 2-for-5 at the plate to earn his 19 multiple-hit game of the year.
- Junior center fielder Taylor Ashby extended his current hit streak to six games and can tie his season high with a hit in tomorrow's series finale against the Rebels.
- Tonight's midweek game was the first at home for the Red Raiders since a 4-3 win over LCU back on March 23 and the Red Raiders improved to 13-5 at Dan Law Field with the 10-6 win.
- Tech played error free for the first time since the first game of a doubleheader against UTSA on April 7.
