The Cowgirls came right back, scoring a run in the bottom of the frame on a pair of doubles by Julie Ward and Chelsea Garcia to take the lead, 2-1.

Alex Watkins began the inning with a single to start a potential Tech rally. Emily Bledsoe than advanced Watkins on a sacrifice bunt. Watkins advanced to third on a single by Holley Gentsch. But, with runners at first and third, Tech was unable to plate a runner as Odom struck out the final two batters to secure the victory for Oklahoma State.
