Red Raiders Battle the No. 22 Bears in Waco

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Red Raiders (16-8/4-6) travel to Waco for their conference game against the No. 22 Baylor Bears (19-5/6-4) on Tuesday at 7 PM.
The game is televised on Fox Sports Southwest with Greg Lucas providing the play-by-play. Jim Haller will deliver the game analysis.

Texas Tech and Baylor are meeting for the 119th time since the series began on January 2, 1937.
Overall, Texas Tech leads the series 74-44. The Red Raiders have a 41-13 advantage in Lubbock and a 6-2 lead on neutral courts. Baylor leads the series in Waco, 29-27.
Last season, each team won on their home court. On January 10, the Bears won in Waco, 73-61. The Red Raiders won in Lubbock on February 7, 83-76.
Baylor is 19-5 for the season and 6-4 in conference play. Their conference wins at home have been against Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Iowa State, and Missouri. They have road wins at Texas, in overtime, and at Nebraska.
Their conference losses have been at Colorado, at Kansas, at Texas A&M, and to Kansas State in Waco.
For the season, Baylor is averaging 76.8 points each game and holding their opponents to 63.9 points per game. In conference play, the Bears have scored 74.8 points per outing and have held the opposition to 69.8 points per game.

The Red Raiders are averaging 77.2 points per game for the season and allowing their opponents 74.2 points per game.
Texas Tech has three players in double figures for the season. Mike Singletary tops the squad with 15.5 points each game. John Roberson follows with 15.4 points per game. David Tairu adds 10.5 points per game.
