Texas Tech Set to Battle No. 6 Kansas State

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Red Raiders (16-10/4-8) face their third consecutive nationally ranked opponent when they battle the No. 6 Kansas State Wildcats (22-4/9-3) at the United Spirit Arena on Tuesday at 7 PM.
The game will be televised on the Big 12 Network with Doug Bell calling the play-by-play and Stephen Howard providing the game analysis.
In Lubbock, the game will air on KMYL-TV.

Texas Tech and Kansas State are meeting for the 25th time since the series began on December 6, 1955.
Each team has won twelve games in the series. Texas Tech has a 7-4 margin in Lubbock and a 2-1 edge on neutral courts. Kansas State holds a 7-3 advantage in Manhattan.
The Wildcats won in Manhattan last season, 85-73, while the Red Raiders won the last meeting played in Lubbock, 84-75.
No. 6 Kansas State is 22-4 for the season and 9-3 in conference play. They completed non-conference play with a 13-1 record. The Wildcats are 9-3 in conference games.
They have wins over Texas A&M (88-65), at Colorado (87-81), Texas (71-62), at Baylor (76-74), at Nebraska (76-57), at Iowa State (79-75), Colorado (68-51), Nebraska (91-87), and at Oklahoma (83-68).
They have losses at Missouri (68-74), to Oklahoma State (69-73), and in overtime to Kansas (79-81).
