Texas Tech Tangles With Oklahoma on Tuesday

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Red Raiders (15-7/3-5) travel to Norman, Oklahoma, for Tuesday's Big 12 game with the Oklahoma Sooners (13-9/4-4).
The game is featured on the Big 12 Network. In Lubbock, the game will air on KMYL-TV. ESPN Full Court and ESPN360.com will also provide complete game coverage.
Mitch Holthus will call the play-by-play and Bryndon Manzer will provide the game analysis. Melissa Knowles will be the sideline reporter.
On the radio, Mark Finkner will call the courtside action along with analyst Corky Oglesby on the Texas Tech Sports Network flagship station Double T 104.3. The game is also broadcast on XM Radio channel 231.
The Red Raiders and the Sooners are meeting for the 47th time since the series began on December 27, 1944. Overall, Oklahoma leads the series 29-17. They have a 17-5 advantage in Norman and a 2-1 edge on neutral courts.
Texas Tech has an 11-10 margin when the teams have played in Lubbock.
The Red Raiders won the first meeting this season in Lubbock, 75-65, on January 23.
OU's Tommy Mason-Griffin led both teams with 26 points. Tony Crocker added 20 points and 13 rebounds for the Sooners.
Mike Singletary had 24 points and 10 rebounds for the Red Raiders. David Tairu followed with 18 points, and Nick Okorie added 10 points.
Oklahoma led at halftime, 31-23. Texas Tech outscored OU, 52-34, in the second half for the win.
Oklahoma has four players averaging in double figures for the season with Willie Warren (16.1), Tommy Mason-Griffin (13.2), Tony Crocker (11.6), and Tiny Gallon (10.3).
For the season, OU is scoring 73.9 points per game while their defense is allowing opponents to score 71.2 points each game. In conference play, the Sooners are posting 66.2 points each outing and their opponents are scoring 70.9 points per game.
Oklahoma is 4-4 in Big 12 play. Their wins have been at home against Oklahoma State in overtime, Missouri, Iowa State, and, most recently, over Texas on February 6, 80-71.
Texas Tech is averaging 78.0 points each game for the season and allowing their opponents 74.6 points per game.
The Red Raiders have three players in double figures for the season. Mike Singletary leads the squad with 15.7 points each game. John Roberson follows with 14.8 points per game. David Tairu adds 10.6 points per game.
Texas Tech is averaging 73.9 points per conference game and has allowed their opponents 81.8 points per contest.
The Red Raiders are 3-5 in Big 12 action. They have wins over Iowa State, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State. Their losses have been to Missouri in overtime at home and on the road to OSU, Kansas, Texas, and Texas A&M.
In Saturday's 81-74 win over Oklahoma State, junior John Roberson surpassed Stan Bonewitz's mark of 435 assists to become Texas Tech's all-time assist leader.
