LUBBOCK, Texas - Jamar Wall got the call in the sixth round as the Dallas Cowboys drafted the former Texas Tech cornerback Saturday afternoon during the 2010 NFL Draft. Wall was the only Red Raider selected this year.
The Plainview native collected 58 tackles, forced two fumbles and grabbed two interceptions last season and was part of a defense that helped lead Texas Tech to a 9-4 mark and Valero Alamo Bowl championship. A 15-yard INT return in the bowl game set up a Tech score.
For his career, Wall collected nine interceptions, including five during his sophomore season, and also broke up 34 passes.
