Tech Football to Host Women's Football Clinic

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech Football will host the Women's Football Clinic on August 4 at 5:30 p.m. at the Football Training Facility.
The cost to attend the clinic is $30 per person and includes a t-shirt, meal, and instruction from the football coaching staff.Participants will have the opportunity to interact with head coach Tommy Tuberville and the coaching staff while gaining an understanding of the fundamentals and insight into college football.
Since 1995, the Komen Lubbock Affiliate has raised more than $3.7 million and has granted more than $2.3 million to community organizations to provide early-detection education and to support screening and diagnostic programs. When a person gives a $1 to Komen Lubbock, 75 cents stays right here on the South Plains to fund breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs. The remaining 25 cents is used for breast cancer research.
All of the net proceeds from the clinic will go directly to the Lubbock affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure which has raised more than $3.7 million in the past 15 years for education, screening and treatment programs on the South Plains and for breast cancer research.
