Red Raider Volleyball to Host Fan Fest

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech volleyball program will host a Fan Fest prior to its home opener against Missouri next Wed., Sept. 15 at the United Spirit Arena. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to meet the 2010 Red Raiders and coaching staff as all tickets to the match will be only $1.
Fans will be able to meet and get autographs from the team as well as head coach Trish Knight and her coaching staff. Tech will also provide complimentary finger foods and drinks for the event as well as a cash bar. Fans can enter for a chance to win different door prizes including autographed volleyballs and t-shirts.
The Texas Tech cheer and pom squads as well as the Masked Rider and Raider Red will also be in attendance and able to meet and greet fans while also signing autographs.
A special coupon will be provided to those in attendance for a free soft drink and popcorn. The Double T Zone will also be on hand for fans to get their hands on official Texas Tech Volleyball apparel.
The arena doors will open at 5 p.m., and fans are encouraged to enter in the upper northwest gate and proceed to the City Bank Room on the concourse level.
The Red Raiders return to the road this weekend for one last non-conference tournament, heading to Fort Collins, Colo. for the Rams Volleyball Classic. Tech will face 15th-ranked Colorado State, Illinois State, and Northeastern in the two-day event that begins Friday.
