LUBBOCK, Texas - Area coaches can get a glimpse of the Texas Tech volleyball program Monday evening as the Red Raiders host their first practice under new head coach Don Flora in the United Spirit Arena.
The Red Raiders, who had been previously participating in individual workouts, will practice inside the USA from 5-7 p.m. Monday. Immediately following, Flora and his staff will host a catered dinner for any interested coaches as it will coincide with a "chalk talk" session.
"The staff is looking forward to this phase of training with full team practice," Flora said. "We feel it is just as important to open the doors of practice to local and regional coaches to have them see this era of Texas Tech Volleyball."
Coaches wishing to attend should contact Amy Gandy in the Tech volleyball office. She can be reached at (806) 742-7545 or at amy.gandy@ttu.edu. With over 60 coaches already confirmed for the event, space is limited and those wishing to attend should contact Gandy as soon as possible.
