Texas Tech Volleyball Continues Spring With Home Tournament

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech fans can get their first glimpse of the volleyball program under new head coach Don Flora this weekend as the Red Raiders will host two days of competition, beginning Friday evening at the United Spirit Arena.
The Red Raiders will face the Tech men's intramural champions at 5:30 p.m. Friday before returning to the court Saturday morning for four matches against programs around the area.
Tech begins its spring tournament at 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning with back-to-back matches against Wayland Baptist then Angelo State. Following an hour break, the Red Raiders resume play against New Mexico State at 1 p.m. before facing West Texas A&M immediately after to close the day.
The South Plains Food Bank will be on hand both days to accept canned donations as part of their annual food drive.
Admission is free both days and fans are encouraged to use the north doors to enter the arena. Doors will open an hour prior to the first match both days.
