Tech Women's Tennis Excelling This Summer

The Texas Tech women's tennis members Samantha Adams and incoming freshman Kenna Kilgo recently won an ITA Summer Circuit event held at UT-Arlington.
"I am proud of the hard work these two and the rest of the team has put in this summer," head coach Todd Petty said. "The commitment and dedication put in will help our team in the fall and continue our success."
The duo won the women's open double draw Amy Allin and Madeleine Murray in the finals 8-5. Adams and Kilgo won four matches to take the title and were ranked as the No. 2 team going into the tournament.
Kilgo continues her busy summer as she started competition in the Girls' 18 National Team Championships held in Claremont, Calif., this afternoon.
