What goes through your mind when running onto the field with the team on a gameday?
"Just excitement. Ready to be next to the guys, just trying to win a game is really the most important thing."
What is your favorite thing about being a Red Raider?
"The community, the fans, my team mates. It's just really been a fun time."
Is there a motto or a phrase you live by?
"You know my dad's always told me "Don't ever get too high with the highs, or too low with the lows." I take that to heart."
What is your personal goal for this season?
"Well, it's my senior year, so I've been working really hard in the offseason, trying to get bigger, faster, stronger. I'd really like to have a great season, help my team win. I want to go undefeated this year, and I'm going to do whatever I can to help that."
Do you have any hidden talents?
"I'm really good at building things. Anything in construction I'm good at."
Who are some of the major influences in your life, both on and off the field?
"My dad's always been a big influence on me, also my team mates. Everyone holds each other accountable, on and off the field, so that's a big influence."
What has been the biggest difference for you personally from your first year at Tech to where you are now in your career?
"I'd probably say self-motivation. Really over the last year or two, I found a way to push myself further than I ever thought I could. I'm a much more competitive person also, now than I ever was before."
Give your personal message to Red Raider Nation.
"I'd say get ready for a good season. Everyone's working really hard, everyone's really dedicated. We want to win a lot of games, so get excited!"
