LUBBOCK, Texas - While Texas Tech is No. 22 in the ITA men's team rankings, senior Gonzalo Escobar is currently 33rd overall in the latest edition of the individual player rankings.

Escobar, who was ranked as high as 10th nationally, is currently 18-7 on the season and secured the No. 2 spot in Tim Siegel's lineup for the Red Raiders.

Escobar is the only Red Raider ranked in the ITA Top 125 singles rankings. The last time Escobar was not in the ITA Top 125 was Sept. 9, 2009.
