Nikki Sanders helped lead No. 32 Texas tech past No. 36 UNLV on Sunday.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - No. 32 Texas Tech (8-2) used strong singles play to topple No. 36 UNLV (6-4), 5-2, on Sunday in women's tennis at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
It was the third ranked opponent in three days for the Lady Raiders, who topped No. 45 Long Beach State, 5-2 on Friday and fell to No. 39 Utah, 4-3, on Saturday.
"All I can say is wow," said Lady Raider head coach Toddy Petty. "We lost the doubles point and then won five of six singles matches. I really have to give a lot of credit to Samantha Adams and Nikki Sanders."
The day started with UNLV taking the doubles point. UNLV's Aleksandra Josifoska and Nives Pavlovic upset 57th-ranked Samantha Adams and Kenna Kilgo 8-2 at the top spot while Lucia Batta and Manon de Lanlay won 8-4 over Caroline Starck and Nikki Sanders on court two. Texas Tech's lone doubles win came at No. 3, where Elizabeth Ullathorne and Rashmi Teltumbde defeated Anett Ferenczi-Bako and Ella Bourchier, 8-3.
In singles, Utah's Batta, who is ranked 50th nationally, topped Ullathorne, 6-1, 6-3, at No. 1. But then the Lady Raiders put together straight-set wins from Adams, Starck, Sanders and Dynka and added a three-set win by Rashmi Teltumbde.
Texas Tech opens Big 12 Conference play on Thursday, when they host No. 8 Baylor at 3 p.m. at the McLeod Tennis Center.
