No. 18 Lady Raiders Stay Perfect In Big 12 Play

Lawrence, Kan. - No. 18 Texas Tech notched a 6-1 win over Kansas on Sunday to stay perfect in Big 12 Conference action.
The Lady Raiders improved to 13-3 overall and 3-0 in the Big 12 and atop the conference standings. Kansas fell to 9-7 overall and 0-4 in the Big 12.
The No. 30 duo of Samantha Adams and Kenna Kilgo won their sixth straight match with an 8-4 victory over Monica Pezzotti and Dylan Windom. Rashmi Teltumbde and Elizabeth Ullathorne added an 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles to secure the point.
In singles action, Texas Tech took five of six matches as Nikki Sanders, Caroline Starck, Kilgo, Adams and Teltumbde each rolled to straight-set victories.
Texas Tech returns to action on Friday at 6 p.m. at the McLeod Tennis Center, when the Lady Raiders host No. 41 Oklahoma State.
