Samantha Adams dropped a pair of matches on Tuesday at the Riviera/ITA All-American.

LOS ANGELES - Texas Tech's No. 61 Samantha Adams fell to Alabama's No. 28 Mary Ann Macfarlane 6-1, 6-1 in the Round of 64 of the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships on Tuesday at the Riviera Tennis Club.
Adams then lost to Virginia's No. 74 Danielle Collins, 7-5, 6-3, in the consolation backdraw.
Adams and Kenna Kilgo, who are ranked No. 9 nationally, will begin play in the main draw of doubles play on Thursday.
