TEXAS TECH HOSTS UTAH VALLEY FOR MIDWEEK SERIES
Texas Tech closes out its five-game homestand with a midweek series with Utah Valley, March 12-13, at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park. Tech has won five of its last seven and three of its last four games heading into this week. The Red Raiders have won back-to-back weekend series and split a midweek non-conference series on the road last week at No. 16 Arizona. Texas Tech is 8-2 at home this season while having won four of its last five games at its home ballpark. The Wolverines are 4-4 on the road and like the Red Raiders have a midweek series split at Arizona under their belts. Tech will open Big 12 play this weekend at Texas - who for the first time since 2001 will not be nationally-ranked when facing the Red Raiders.
