LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech's Dejan Kravic was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches 2012-13 Honors Court, which was announced on Wednesday.
To be selected to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2012-13 academic year.
Kravic, a Serbian native and Canadian national, averaged 9.0 points and 5.2 rebounds per game last season for the Red Raiders. Kravic is one of seven Big 12 Conference men's basketball players honored by the association. The NABC honored more than 700 student-athletes from 285 colleges from the NCAA Division I, II and III levels, as well as the NAIA.
A recent graduate, Kravic received his degree in human sciences in May. He will return this fall to begin his master's degree while he completes his senior season at Texas Tech.
