NOTING THE RED RAIDERS
? Freshman running back Justin Stockton scored Texas Tech's first points of the game with a 75-yard touchdown run on the first play of the second quarter. ? Ryan Bustin gave Tech its first lead of the game when he hit a 28-yard field goal with 10:47 remaining in the first half. That field goal moved him into a tie for third place on Tech's career field goal list with Ricky Gann (1981-84) and Scott Segrist (1985-88).
? Bradley Marquez gave Texas Tech a 16-13 lead with 2:41 to go in the first half when he hauled in an 11-yard TD reception. The TD was his third of the season and his first catch of the game. He has now caught at least one pass in 31 of 33 career games. He caught his second TD pass (13-yards) of the game with 6:27 to go in the third quarter and that gave Tech a 23-13 lead...
