Texas Tech is currently ranked in four top-10 national polls, including fifth by Baseball America
LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech remained at No. 5 in the country according to this week's Baseball America top-25 poll and also received top-10 rankings from Collegiate Baseball (7th), NCBWA (9th) and Perfect Game (9th).
The Red Raiders (8-1) went 4-1 on the week while sweeping a four-game series over Northern Illinois - including three shutout wins - and falling to currently undefeated Nevada. Tech is one of only four schools in the nation with eight wins through two weeks of competition.

Dating back to last season, Tech has been ranked nationally in 21 consecutive weeks while its No. 5 ranking is its highest ranking since 1997 (No. 1).
