Series Opener Between Texas Tech, Iowa State Postponed

The Red Raiders will now open their three-game series at Iowa State with a 12 p.m. doubleheader Saturday afternoon at the Cyclone Sports Complex.

AMES, Iowa - The series opener between Texas Tech and Iowa State was postponed Friday due to inclement weather that is supposed to remain in the Ames area for the remainder of the evening.
The two teams will instead open the series with a 12 p.m. doubleheader Saturday afternoon at the Cyclone Sports Complex. The second game will begin 30 minutes following the completion of the series opener.
The Red Raiders (23-25; 7-8) head into the weekend looking to win their school record fourth-straight Big 12 series after recording victories in seven of their past nine games, all of which that have come against league opponents.
