2:30 p.m. -- Media Breakout Sessions
After lunch and some satellite radio interviews, the Red Raiders went to the media breakout sessions.
Over the course of 90 minutes, each Tech representative sat in a designated area and fielded questions from media members approaching them.
This was the final opportunity for the media to meet with coach Kingsbury and the Red Raiders before the conclusion of day one at Big 12 Media Days.

12:20 p.m. -- Kingsbury Press Conference
Kliff Kingsbury concluded the first day of Big 12 Media Days with 15 minutes at the podium Monday in front of the national print media. The interview, which will be on Texas Tech TV later this afternoon, aired live on FOX Sports Southwest.
Kingsbury chose not to give an opening statement, and immediately opened the floor for questions, which touched on numerous subjects, including his new defensive coordinator, David Gibbs, the depth at receiver and what he expects from running back DeAndre Washington, among various other topics.
The focus, as expected, was on the quarterback situation. Kingsbury said it is something he looks to resolve sooner, rather than later.
I'm planning on naming a starter fairly early in camp and trying to develop that chemistry with the first team and second team," Kingsbury said. "Now, if somebody falters early on, we do feel that we have two guys that can win games. So that's a luxury we haven't had.
Following the press conference, Kingsbury and the players had a quick lunch before heading to satellite radio interviews and media breakout sessions.
Kingsbury talking up DeAndre Washington. He should, kid was awesome last year and criminally underrated I think.

The Red Raiders sat down for interviews with a few national television outlets, which was a good chance for the networks to get content they will use this season.
10 a.m. -- National TV Interviews
Texas Tech began its Big 12 Media Days slate at 10 a.m., as head coach Kliff Kingsbury and players DeAndre Washington, Jared Kaster and Branden Jackson did interviews with CBS Sports (10 a.m.), FOX (10:20 a.m.), Fox Sports 1 (10:40 a.m.) and ESPN (11 a.m.).
The various interviews were a good time for television broadcasters and producers to meet the Red Raiders in preparation for the 2015 games. Each network also shot footage that will air on televised games later this year.
Next, the Red Raiders will take part in a photo shoot at 11:20 a.m., before more television interviews. Coach Kingsbury will meet with the print media at 12:20 p.m., and that press conference will be broadcast on FOX Sports Southwest, which is currently broadcasting its Big 12 Live From Media Day show.
