Coming off a 59-45 victory over Sam Houston State, Kingsbury was joined by defensive coordinator David Gibbs, offensive coordinator Eric Morris as well as senior defensive lineman Branden Jackson and senior center Jared Kaster to preview this weekend's contest against UTEP.
"UTEP is a very, very good football team," Kaster said. "They gave us a little trouble at the beginning (last year), but they're a great team and we've got to bring our A-game. It's going to be fun to play them here in (Jones AT&T Stadium)."
The Red Raiders head into Saturday's contest riding a six-game winning streak over UTEP after defeating the Miners, 30-26, last season at the Sun Bowl in El Paso. This will be UTEP's first trip to Jones AT&T Stadium since Sept. 8, 2007, when Tech topped the Miners, 45-31.
The UTEP game will mark the fourth-annual "Celebrate Cotton Game" as Texas Tech will once again partner with the Texas High Plains Cotton industry to put a national focus on West Texas - the world leader in cotton production.
Tickets for Saturday's game can still be purchased through the Texas Tech Ticket Office by calling 806-742-TECH or by clicking here.
