Red Raiders In The NFL: Week 10

LUBBOCK, Texas -- Each week, texastech.com details the accomplishments of former Red Raiders who now play in the NFL. Pro Bowl voting is now open, and you can vote to send your favorite Red Raiders to the Pro Bowl.
After amassing 59 yards on four catches six weeks ago, Amaro did not factor into Sunday's win against the Packers... Amaro will look to build off an impressive 2014 rookie campaign, in which he hauled in 38 passes for 345 yards while hitting paydirt twice ... Amaro was the New York Jets' second-round pick (49th overall) in the 2014 NFL Draft.
Amendola hauled in a pass for 14 yards during the Patriots' loss on Sunday against the Seahawks … In seven NFL seasons, Amendola has caught 359 passes for 3,412 yards and scored 16 touchdowns … On top of that, he has hauled in three career postseason touchdowns, including a score in Super Bowl XLIX … Amendola was signed by the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2008.
Week 9 Matchup: Indianapolis 31, Green Bay 26
Clark returned to the field on Sunday, playing 5 snaps on special teams in the Colts' win over the Packers … Clark was the first of three Red Raiders to hear their names called in the 2016 NFL draft, going at No. 82 overall … Clark started all 51 games of his Red Raider career, and his senior year he was named a CBS Sports second team All-American ... He was the third-round pick of the Colts in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Week 9 Matchup: Oakland 30, Denver 20
During the Raiders' win, Crabtree continued to get his hands on the ball, pulling in two receptions for 27 total yards, helping keep the Raiders in first place in the AFC West. ... He now has 481 receptions for 5,845 yards and 41 regular-season touchdowns in his professional career … Crabtree played two seasons at Texas Tech (2007-08), where he became the first receiver in collegiate history to win the Biletnikoff Award twice, before the 49ers selected him with the 10th overall pick of the 2009 NFL Draft.
Cody Davis saw the field for 23 snaps (1 defense, 22 special teams) in L.A.'s low-scoring win over the Jets on Sunday … This summer, Davis and Red Raider teammate Bradley Marquez were featured on the popular HBO "Hard Knocks" series … Davis was a four-year letterman with the Red Raiders (2009-12) and then signed as an undrafted free agent with the Rams in 2013.
Jakeem Grant was Miami's sole returner during Sunday's win, racking up 57 total return yards (54 kick, 3 punt) … Grant ranks 19th in the NFL, averaging 9.0 yards per punt return this season ... Grant was Miami's sixth-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft after a senior year at Tech in which he averaged 181 all-purpose yards per game which ranked fourth nationally, and ranked fourth nationally with 1,017 kickoff return yards and fifth with two kickoff return touchdowns … CBS Sports tabbed him as a second team All-American.
Week 9 Matchup: Detroit 22, Minnesota 16 (OT)
Hyder recorded two more sacks and two tackles in Detroit's overtime win on Sunday ... His 7.0 sacks this season are tied for eighth in the NFL ... Hyder joined the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2014 after a Red Raider career which included a litany of All-Big 12 honors in 2013 and 2014.

Washington carried the ball 10 times, amassing 35 yards in Oakland's win over the Broncos on Sunday ... His 374 yards from scrimmage this season ranks third among Oakland running backs ... Washington was the first Red Raider running back to register back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons since former Doak Walker Award winner Byron Hanspard in 1995 and 1996 ... one of five players in school history to rush for over 1,000 yards twice in a career.
