Series Opener Against K-State Moved to Saturday

Texas Tech head coach Tim Tadlock and the Red Raiders will now face K-State in a doubleheader Saturday afternoon. First pitch is slated for 1 p.m. inside Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.

First pitch Saturday is scheduled for 1 p.m. with the second game to follow at 5 p.m. or 45-minutes following the conclusion of game one. Tech and K-State will remain at a 12 p.m. start Sunday afternoon.
All three games of the series will be broadcast live via TexasTech.TV and over the air via the Texas Tech Sports Network.
Fans can use their Friday ticket for admission into Saturday's doubleheader or Sunday's series finale. Tickets can also be redeemed for any remaining game this season (based on availability) except for the Texas series.
Texas Tech will still host its Big 12 softball opener against Oklahoma State beginning at 6 p.m. this evening at Rocky Johnson Field. The Texas Tech women's tennis match has also been moved indoors tonight as the Lady Raiders will face K-State at 6 p.m. at the Lubbock Country Club.
