Five 2016 Texas Tech football kickoff times were announced on Wednesday.

LUBBOCK, Texas -- Texas Tech, in conjunction with the Big 12 Conference, ESPN and Fox Sports Net, announced five 2016 football kickoff times on Wednesday.
The 2016 season will kick off Sept. 3 vs. Stephen F. Austin at 7 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on Fox Sports Net. The Red Raiders' second home contest, the Sept. 17 tilt with Louisiana Tech, will feature a 6 p.m. kickoff on Fox Sports Net.
The Red Raiders' third home tilt of the season, a Thursday-night matchup with Kansas on Sept. 29, will kick off at 7:30 p.m. Fox Sports 1 will broadcast that game as well.
Tech will begin the 2016 home campaign with three-straight night games on the heels of a 2015 season in which the Red Raiders did not play a home game with a kickoff scheduled for later than 3:45 p.m. CT.
On Sept. 10, Tech travels to Arizona State. That game is slated for a 9 p.m. CT kickoff and will be televised by Fox Sports 1.
Tech's Nov. 25 matchup with Baylor is slated for a 5 p.m. CT start inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will be televised by ESPN.
The remaining conference games on Texas Tech's schedule will be announced throughout the season on either a 12 or six-day basis. Every home Big 12 football game will be available for telecast in accordance with the conference's 13-year long joint agreement with FOX Sports and ESPN.
