Fall Camp Report: Day 5

LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech's fifth day of fall camp brought a change as the Red Raiders donned full pads for the first time this season on Friday morning at the Football Training Facility.

The Red Raiders had a full-contact practice for the first time this season, participating in various position drills and several team periods. Tomorrow morning, the Red Raiders will hold their first scrimmage of the fall practice slate.

The Red Raiders will host 18 more practices leading into their Sept. 3 season opener against Stephen F. Austin. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. with television coverage provided by FOX Sports Net.

Season tickets, single game tickets and mini plans are all still on sale for the 2016 season. Tickets can be purchased online, in person at the Texas Tech Ticket Office located on the east side of Jones AT&T Stadium or by calling 806-742-TECH.
