Fall Camp Report: Day 16
August 23, 2016 | Football
LUBBOCK, Texas --Â Texas Tech continued its final week of fall camp on Tuesday at the Football Training Facility.
Â
The Red Raiders competed in various position drills and 11-on-11 team periods, as well as some special teams work.
After practice, head coach Kliff Kingsbury met with the media.
"We had our big scrimmage Saturday," Kingsbury said. "From now on, it's pretty much game prep. We'll simulate a game week coming up, and then we'll have our regular game week next week. Then, it's time to go."
This week will be the final week of fall camp before Tech switches into game preparation mode.
The Red Raiders will host 9 more practices leading into their Sept. 3 season opener against Stephen F. Austin.Â
Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. with television coverage provided by FOX Sports Net.
