Texas Tech Launches "Texas Tech Pass" Ticket Program
August 31, 2016 | Football
LUBBOCK, Texas --Â Texas Tech Athletics introduced a newly-launched program Wednesday that will allow Red Raider fans to purchase mobile tickets in as few as three taps on their smartphones.
The Texas Tech Pass will allow fans to sign up to receive a text message notification when tickets become available for each home game. Once notified, fans can select the desired section and purchase tickets directly from their smartphones. A barcode and seat location will then be sent to their mobile device and can be used to enter Jones AT&T Stadium.
Fans can sign up for ticket notifications by visiting TexasTechPass.com.
"We're excited to work with a mobile tech firm like Experience to offer this technology to our fans," said Robert Giovannetti, Senior Associate AD for External Operations. "Texas Tech Pass will offer our fans a fast and simple way to purchase mobile tickets hours before the game all from their mobile device."
The Texas Tech Pass was developed through a partnership with Experience (expapp.com), an award-winning fan experience technology company that has also worked with several of the top professional and collegiate programs across the country.
Fans are encouraged to sign up for notifications prior to Saturday's season opener against Stephen F. Austin. Tickets are still on sale for the 7 p.m. kickoff and can be purchased online or by calling 806-742-TECH.
