Texas Tech Men's Basketball at Big 12 Media Day

The Red Raiders gave fans an all-access pass to everything from Kansas City on Tuesday.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Texas Tech men's basketball team took part in Big 12 Media Day Tuesday from the Sprint Center in Kansas City.Â
The Red Raiders were represented by second-year head coach Chris Beard along with their senior class in Keenan Evans, Justin Gray, Tommy Hamilton IV, Niem Stevenson and Zach Smith who gave fans an all-access look to the event through social media takeovers throughout the day. Texas Tech also did interviews with CBS Sports Network, ESPN, Sirius XM and the Big 12 Digital Network. Â
The Red Raiders take on Angelo State in an exhibition game on Friday, November 3rd before squaring off with South Alabama on Friday, November 10th to start the regular season. Â

Texas Tech ranked 26th in the nation for the largest average attendance increase between the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons. More season tickets have already been sold for 2017-18 than all of last season. Fans are encouraged to purchase season tickets now to reserve the best available seats.
