Lady Raiders Head Into Day Three at KU Invite

Angyalosy and Jackson are undefeated in doubles action this weekend.
LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Texas Tech women's tennis team finished up day two of the KU Invitational on Saturday held at the Jayhawk Tennis Center.
Alex Angyalosy and Katelyn Jackson remain undefeated in doubles play as the duo knocked off Auburn's Alannah Griffin and Caroline Turner with a 6-3 decision. Teammates Lana Rush and Alex Valenstein nearly defeated Taylor Russo and Madeline Meredith of Auburn with a 7-6 (7-1) final score.
The Lady Raiders went 2-4 on the afternoon for singles play. Jackson and Angyalosy both took home a singles wins over opponents from Washington. Angyalosy pushed past Kenadi Hance with a pair of 7-5, 7-5 sets whereas Jackson upended Wong by a 6-4, 6-2 margin. No. 120 Valenstein hung tough with No. 18 Stacey Fung before taking a 6-2, 6-3 loss.
