Coutee returns to his native DFW area on April 1 for the Texas Tech Spring Game
LUBBOCK, Texas - In just two seasons as a Red Raider, junior wide receiver Keke Coutee has quickly become one of Texas Tech's most-popular targets in the passing game.Â
Coutee, a native of Lufkin, Texas, draws his inspiration from his late uncle, who introduced the wideout to the game of football at a young age. Since then, he transformed into of the top high-school prospects in the state at Lufkin High School and then became an impact receiver with the Red Raiders the past two seasons.Â
Coutee ended the 2016 season as Tech's second-leading receiver after recording 890 yards through the air on 55 receptions. He also caught seven receiving touchdowns and rushed for another en route to All-Big 12 honorable mention accolades.
Coutee will return to the Dallas-Fort Worth area on April 1 when the Red Raiders hold their Spring Game at The Star in Frisco. Tickets are limited and can be purchased online or by contacting the Texas Tech Ticket Office at 806-742-TECH.Â
