He has put in the time, and put in the work. Now, after spending multiple years learning the system, Nic Shimonek is slated to be the next Texas Tech starting quarterback.

This Saturday, Shimonek will take the stage at the Texas Tech Spring Game, just an hour from where he played high school football.
