LUBBOCK, Texas – The No. 11 Texas Tech men's golf team will head to Bryan, Texas, this weekend to compete in the 2017 Aggie Invitational, which is set to take place April 1-2 at the Traditions Club.
Of the seven top-30 teams competing at the Aggie Invitational, Tech is one of four from the Big 12. The Red Raiders will be joined by No. 2 Baylor, No. 4 Oklahoma State and No. 16 Texas, according to Golfweek.
Tech has had success in Bryan before, sweeping the team and individual titles at the 2006 Aggie Invitational. Oscar Floren claimed the individual title.
Texas Tech's lineup will consist of Hannes Ronneblad, Ivan Ramirez, Fredrik Nilehn, Federico Zucchetti and Sandy Scott. Hurly Long will play as an individual.
Tee off will be each morning at 7:30, and the Red Raiders will begin the opening round at 7:50 a.m. on hole No. 3.

The Aggie Invitational is Texas Tech's second-to-last tournament before postseason play begins at the Big 12 Championships April 24-26, in Hutchinson, Kansas.
