Multis Kick Off Day One of Kansas Relays

Red Raiders currently hold leading positions in the Heptathlon and Decathlon.
LAWRENCE, Kansas – Texas Tech track & field traveled three athletes to Lawrence, Kansas, for the men's decathlon and women's heptathlon.
Kaylee Hinton leads the charge in the heptathlon, currently sitting at 3336 points with three first-place finishes.
Hinton's top finishes were secured in the 100-meter hurdles (13.58w), high jump (1.68m/5-6) and 200-meter dash (24.29w).
Erin Lopez ended the day with 3728 points in the decathlon after three top-three finishes and one personal best.
Lopez's personal best came during his high jump performance, clearing 1.90m/6-2.75 for 714 points.
Rose Njoku is currently in third-place in the heptathlon with 3004 points.
Njoku's strongest performance was in the 200m where she clocked a 25.01 run for second-place.
