Men's Tennis Places Three on All-Big 12 Teams

Jolan Cailleau has earned All-Big 12 singles honors in back-to-back seasons.
IRVING, Texas – Jolan Cailleau, Connor Curry and Bjorn Thomson of the Texas Tech men's tennis team captured All-Big 12 First-Team honors announced Thursday by the conference office.
Cailleau secured an All Big 12 First-Team selection in singles whereas Curry and Thomson notched All-Big 12 First-Team accolades in doubles. All three players will represent the Red Raiders at the NCAA Singles and Doubles competition later this month at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex on the University of Georgia campus.
For Cailleau, he has tucked away All-Big 12 singles honors in consecutive seasons. He garnered second-team status last season. Cailleau has climbed to a season's best No. 21 in the ITA singles rankings on the strength of five victories over Top 30 opponents since March 14. He has emerged with wins in eight of his last 11 decisions en route to a 12-10 dual match record.
Curry and Thomson hold a No. 18 ITA doubles ranking and have turned in a 14-6 record. The duo has captured a team-leading five wins over ranked opponents most notably a 6-4 triumph over fellow All-Big 12 First-Team pair Juan Benitez and Will Little of Baylor at the Big 12 Championships. Three of the pair's six losses have come in tiebreakers.
