He kept that momentum going into the spring by winning the individual title at the Amer Ari Invitational, by going 67-66-67, three of the Red Raiders' 11 best rounds of the season, as Tech took the team title. Nilehn's 54-hole score of 200 at the Amer Ari is a school record. Nilehn also finished the season with a scoring average of 72.33, the ninth-best in school history. Nilehn's two individual wins are already tied for fourth in school history.
Also a member of the 2017 All-Big 12 Tournament Team with a sixth-place finish at Prairie Dunes, Ramirez played in all 12 tournaments for the Red Raiders. He finished the season with a 72.2 scoring average, which is tied for sixth in school history. Both Ronneblad and Nilehn qualified to represent Europe in the Palmer Cup, which begins tomorrow, June 9, in Atlanta.
