Texas Tech will host Oklahoma State in a 7 p.m. kickoff on Sept. 30 on FOX
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech will be back under the Jones AT&T Stadium lights on Sept. 30 when the Red Raiders host Oklahoma State in a 7 p.m. primetime kickoff on FOX.
This will be the second night kickoff of the year for the Red Raiders (2-0), who faced Arizona State in a similar 7 p.m. scheduled start this past weekend. Tech is 8-3 in night games at home during head coach Kliff Kingsbury's four-plus seasons leading his alma mater.
Tech and Oklahoma State went down to the wire a year ago in Stillwater before the 13th-ranked Cowboys held on for a 45-44 victory. This will be the 45th all-time meeting between the two schools as Tech narrowly trails in the overall series, 21-20-3.
Tickets for the Oklahoma State game and the three other remaining contests on Tech's home slate are still available online or by contacting the Tech Ticket Office at 806-742-TECH.
The Red Raiders will first have to face a similar 2-0 Houston squad this Saturday to close out non-conference play. Kickoff for that game is slated for 11 a.m. with television coverage to be provided on ABC with a reverse mirror on ESPN2.
