Thomson and Wynn Complete Comeback Win in Arizona

Red Raiders advance to second round of fall nationals
SURPRISE, Arizona – The Texas Tech men's tennis duo of Bjorn Thomson and Parker Wynn defeated their first-round opponents to advance to the round of 16 at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association National Fall Championships on Wednesday.
After dropping the first set to their opponents from the University of Nevada, Thomson and Wynn stormed back to capture the second set at a 6-3 clip. The third set, determined by a superset, was a back-and-forth affair that would eventually be taken by the Red Raiders at a 10-5 advantage.
Tech will next face the seventh-seeded duo of Holmgren and Gamerov from the University of San Diego on Thursday.
