Men’s Team Earns Top 10 Preseason Ranking

Red Raiders ranked in the top 10 to open the season for the first time since 2012
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Texas Tech men's track & field team enters the outdoor season ranked No. 8, the USTFCCCA announced earlier today.
The ranking is the highest preseason ranking since the 2012 season when the Red Raiders pulled in a No. 4 ranking to open the season.
The Red Raiders opened up their outdoor campaign last weekend in San Antonio, Texas, at the UTSA Invitational with 13 top-three finishes.
Junior Caleb Richmond led the team with his first place finish in the 400m hurdles. Junior Odaine Lewis took the top spot in the long jump with a mark of 7.52m (24-8.25).

The Red Raiders head to Abilene, Texas, for the Wes Kittley Invitational this weekend.
