Texas Tech opens the 2018 season on Sept. 1 against Ole Miss in the AdvoCare Texas Kickoff
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech will place tickets on sale Monday morning for the Sept. 1 season-opening AdvoCare Texas Kickoff in Houston where the Red Raiders will face Ole Miss at NRG Stadium.
Â
Tickets start for as low as $52 a person and Red Raider fans are encouraged to purchase through the Tech Ticket Office so the university receives credit towards its allotment.Â
As part of its allotment, Tech has premium seating available with ticket options located at midfield right behind the Red Raiders' bench area. Tech's inventory stretches from endzone to endzone on the wide side of NRG Stadium, all of which includes the lower two field levels.
Â
Red Raider Club members and season ticket holders will have the first opportunity to purchase AdvoCare Texas Kickoff tickets Monday morning by contacting the Tech Ticket Office at 806-742-TECH or by going to the online ticket portal and logging into their online account. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on April 2.
Â
The Red Raiders wrapped their fourth practice of spring drills Thursday morning as Tech still has 11 workouts remaining, including both the Midland and Frisco scrimmages as well as the annual Spring Game. Tech heads to Grande Communications Stadium in Midland on March 24 followed by a trip to The Star in Frisco for its second spring scrimmage on April 7.
Â
Tech concludes its allotment of practices with the Spring Game on April 14 at Jones AT&T Stadium. Admission is free for all fans for both the Spring Game and the Midland scrimmage, while tickets are priced at just $10 for adults 19 and older for the Frisco scrimmage and are available for purchase now.
Â
Red Raider fans can currently lock in their seats for the 2018 campaign as season tickets are priced for as low as $190 a seat or just $27 a month for fans who take advantage of the seven-month, interest-free payment plan Tech is offering once again this year.
