Sabrina Federici, Sarah Dvorak Earn All-Tourney Honors

Seniors awarded after successful weekend in Austin
IRVING, Texas – After a run at the Big 12 Championship this weekend, one singles player and a doubles team earned a spot on the All-Tournament team, the league announced Monday.

The team was selected by the nine head coaches in the conference.

Senior Sabrina Federici was named All-Tournament at the No. 4 position. Federici picked up a win over Anna Turco (Kansas State) in the quarterfinal round. She was leading in her matches against Marina Guinart (OSU) and Bojana Markovic (UT) before the matches were suspended.

In doubles, Federici and Sarah Dvorak claimed the No. 1 spot along with Oklahoma State and Texas' top doubles pairs. The two went 1-1 this weekend, picking up a win over Costamanga and Decker of Kansas State.

The Lady Raiders (20-6) await their placing in the NCAA Championship Selection Show on Tuesday at 4 p.m. The first and second rounds will be played May 11-12 at campus sites across the country.
