Commemorates historic run to NCAA National Championship Final
LUBBOCK, Texas – Told through our photographs and our storytelling, Raider Power: Texas Tech's Journey From Unranked to the Final Four is the ultimate collection to commemorate our journey.
The 2018–2019 Texas Tech men's basketball team began the season unranked before advancing to the final Monday night of the season to play for the NCAA National Championship. Raider Power, which is available now through preorders and will be published on Nov. 15, gives every fan a fully immersive experience with the story of a group of stone-faced dreamers and their historic journey. It is a must-have for the home or office of every Texas Tech fan and those who fell in love with the team along the way.
The book was produced by the Texas Tech Athletic Communications Office and published by the TTU Press. Raider Power is a 12x12 coffee-table book filled with hundreds of images from a team of Texas Tech photographers who were provided unlimited access. The photography captured throughout the historic season is unparalleled and will evoke emotion from Red Raider fans as they relive moments that connected all of Red Raider nation. Our cameras were along for the journey every step of the way and bring fans into a never before seen side of the program. The book includes a foreword from national writer Andy Katz and insights from players, coaches, staff and national media.
Raider Power offers a showcase of the Red Raiders' individual players, spotlighting and providing insider information on this unexpected group of winners, all while focusing on the bond that transformed a group of underdogs into a world-class team with the best defense in the country.
