Red Raider Club to Host Tip-Off Luncheon

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Red Raider Club will host the Texas Tech men's basketball Tip-Off Luncheon at noon on Monday, Nov. 4 at the Overton Hotel & Convention Center.
Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. with the event featuring head coach Chris Beard addressing the crowd a day before opening the 2019-20 season. For ticket information, call 806-742-1196 or email rrc.events@ttu.edu. Tables are being sold for fans to sit with members of the coaching and support staff, while reserved tables of 10 are going for $750. Individual Red Raider Club member tickets are $45 and Individual Non-Red Raider Club tickets will be $65.
The Red Raiders host Eastern Illinois at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at the United Supermarkets Arena to begin a two-game home stand to open the season. Texas Tech is coming off a 2019-20 season where it advanced to the NCAA National Championship Final after winning the program's first Big 12 regular-season championship. Beard is entering his fourth season where he has led the program to 76 wins and was named the Associated Press National Coach of the Year along with earning Big 12 Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season.
